terms and conditions

The tour price is based on land rates in effect April 01, 2003. All rates are subject to change without prior notice. As all services are contracted and prepaid on a group basis, no refunds can be granted for any accommodations, services or events that are not used. If you deviate from the tour, no consideration can be given to a refund for unused services.

A valid passport is required. At time of publication, U.S. and Canadian citizens holding valid passports DO NOT REQUIRE visas or immunization for the country or countries being visited. Citizens of countries other than U.S. and Canada - please contact the consulate of the country or countries being visited to determine visa requirements.

Air transportation is not included in tour price.

Except where mentioned in the itinerary land transportation is provided by deluxe, air conditioned motor coaches.

Specially selected hotels based on twin occupancy with private bath. Single Rooms are limited and subject to availability.

Continental breakfast and Table D' Hote dinners are provided daily except where noted in the itinerary. An extra charge will be made when coffee, tea or other beverages are not included in the menu of the day with the dinner or lunch meal.

Tips and taxes normally appearing on hotel and restaurant bills as "service" are included, as are all government and local taxes on hotels and meals, porterage of one suitcase per person, housekeeping, reception and dining room staffs. Tips to Tour Manager, Drivers and Local Guides are not included.

Expenses and items not specifically mentioned in this publication are NOT covered, including but not limited to: passport and visa fees, meals not listed and items of a personal nature such as laundry, wines, liquors, mineral waters, after dinner coffee or tea, sightseeing or services other than those specifically mentioned, tips and taxes mentioned above, excess baggage and insurance, etc.

A deposit of Euro 500.- per group is required to secure reservations. This sum will be applied to the price of the tour. 30 % of the total tour cost is due 100 days before travel. The balance is to be paid in full no later than 35 days before departure of tour. Credit cards are not accepted. Funds for checks returned for any reason must be returned by overnight mail in the form of a certified check or money order and must include an Euro 50.- return check fee. Group cancellations made from time of reservation to within 100 days prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of Euro 250.- per group. In the event of a full group cancellation from 99 to 36 days of departure the cost will be 10 - 30 % (depending on the hotels booked)
. Full group or partial group cancellations between 35 and 31days before arrival are due to a penalty of 30 -40 % of the total tour cost. There is no refund for cancellations within 30 days before departure. All cancellation and refund claims must be in writing to Travel Tours Agency, Ltd.

All changes not received in writing at least 30 days prior to departure will incur a Euro 35.- change fee per person for each revision.

A service charge of Euro 50.- per Person will be applied for any deviations made in tour, (where possible), PLUS any additional land charges incurred.

The tour operator reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen emergencies.

Our staff members make photos while touring. It is understood and consented that Travel Tours Agency may use any film likenesses taken of any group members and any of their comments while on a Travel Tours Agency tour for future publicity and quality control. However, Travel Tours Agency will never ever feature any information about your company without permission.

Travel Tours Agency Ltd., the organizer, and their representatives act only as agents for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants or any other services in connection with the itinerary. They will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements, however, they do not assume any liability whatsoever, for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property because of any acts of war or terrorism, any act of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tours. The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant or other contractor rendering services shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour member. Travel Tours Agency Ltd., or the organizer, accepts no responsibility for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or any other cause beyond their personal control. No carrier shall be responsible for any act, omission or events during the time passengers are not on board its own conveyance. The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries, or substitute services without notice and to decline to accept or retain any passenger at any time. In view of statutory or contractual limitations that may apply to personal injury or property damage losses the purchase of accident and baggage insurance is strongly recommended.
